Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

Givvy is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our SaaS platform. By using Givvy, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. What we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, organisation details, and the donor and donation records you enter into the platform. We also collect certain technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data, to maintain security and improve our service.

3. How we use your information

We use your data solely to provide, maintain, and improve Givvy. This includes storing your records, generating receipts, sending emails you request, processing payments, providing customer support, and ensuring the reliability and security of the platform. We do not use your data for advertising profiling or unrelated commercial purposes.

4. Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or donor data to any third parties. We only share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform — such as payment processors and cloud hosting providers — and only under strict confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All information transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS / 256-bit SSL. Data stored in our databases is encrypted at rest. Payment information is processed securely by our payment provider, and we do not store your full card numbers on our servers.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 30 days to allow you to reactivate your account, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by emailing support@trygivy.com.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time. You can export your data directly through the application or request deletion by contacting support@trygivy.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse how the platform is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

9. Children's privacy

Givvy is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use of Givvy after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
